Please note, all applications MUST be received no later than February 2nd, 2024 at 5 pm to participate in the lottery. KIPP Baltimore will hold a lottery for all grades. 6th-grade openings and Kindergarten seats will be filled immediately following the lottery. The remaining seats will be added to a waitlist and offered as they become available.
Our lottery will be held Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 4 pm at 2000 Edgewood St. Baltimore, Maryland 21216. In case of inclement weather, the lottery will be held on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 at 4:00 P.m.
Neither you nor your child must attend the lottery for your child to be enrolled at our school.
*If your child turns five between September 2nd and October 15th and you want to apply to be eligible for the 2024 Kindergarten Lottery, you need to apply for an early waiver between April and May of 2024 via the Baltimore City Schools Website.
Following completing the linked application above the BCPS early learning department will contact the parent or guardian for an assessment appointment.
