Submit an online application:
Visit our job board to find a role that fits your interests and expertise.

Complete a phone interview:
The initial interview is conducted by our Recruitment Manager and will be done by telephone. She has daytime and evening options to meet a teacher’s busy schedule.

Provide a sample video lesson and complete interview pre-work:
Teaching candidates will submit a 30-45 minute teaching video using the criteria provided. Pre-work includes being prepared to share data you use in your classroom during the on site interview, and prepare a short response to an interview question.

Participate in an on-site interview:
Candidates will be invited to KIPP Baltimore to interview with a panel of school leaders and teachers.

If offered a teaching position, candidates will need to complete an application to Baltimore City Schools (BCPSS):
In Maryland, charter school teachers are employees of their local district. Our teachers’ salaries are issued by BCPSS and employee benefits and pensions are provided through the district. This is different from KIPP programs in other states. BCPSS Application Link
